Here's a pattern brush of some christmas / festive fairy lights, saved as an Illustrator Brush in CS3.
To use:

Right click on the link below and save the brush
In Illustrator, go to the Brushes panel and click on it's options button
Go to the menu 'Open Brush Library > Other Library'
Select your downloaded brush in the file [...]
