Lush Slide Gloves + Inlines = Painful Fun
Another self-present this weekend. Been after some of these badboys (the gloves) for ages for surf-style inline skating, but it was also so much fun on a skateboard, I went right back to the shop and bought carve trucks. 
I had never heard of anyone using slide gloves with inlines; they're born out of a necessity for the low-slung slide style of longboarding. It seemed that some of the skaters in Hyde Park were also curious to see what I was up to.
When messing about on my inlines over the years, I have developed a liking for deep, low longboard style turns, and with these gloves, I had more confidence to actually drag my hands on the ground. It's also possible to do some two-hand drags and drag-turns. There was some blood involved at various points, and it really gave me aches in new upper-body places, but overall, a hugely fun addition to my skating arsenal.
